Wyze Labs
Wyze is one of the fastest-growing smart home brands in the U.S., with over 10 million registered users and a product line spanning cameras, sensors, locks, lighting, and more.
I'm the sole in-house graphic designer. Every product, every channel, every launch.
Packaging Ecosystem Redesign
The existing packaging had grown inconsistently across categories over time. I'm currently leading a ground-up redesign of the complete Wyze packaging system, covering every SKU and every category. The goal is a unified, scalable framework that can own a retail shelf today and grow with the product line for years.
Every decision, from grid and typography to color, iconography, and copy hierarchy, was made and executed in-house. No agency. No external creative team. Just one designer building something meant to last.
How a Launch Works
Every Wyze product launch follows an end-to-end process that I control from brief to post-launch. Alone.
Brief: Collaborate with the PM to identify the features and specs most likely to drive purchase decisions.
Copy: Write all consumer-facing marketing copy for packaging, PDPs, and digital channels.
Packaging: Design and produce print-ready files for every SKU in the launch.
Photography: Develop the shot list, art direct the shoot, and edit and finalize all product imagery.
Digital Storefront: Design the main image carousel and build the full PDP layout on Wyze.com, Amazon, and Best Buy.
Retail: Design in-store displays and signage for retail partners.
Email: Design launch and post-launch email campaigns with the email team.
Post-Launch: Ongoing support for promotions, seasonal campaigns, and brand marketing.
Brand System & Scale
Beyond individual launches, I maintain and evolve the Wyze brand system. This consists of guidelines, templates, and asset libraries. Itβs the infrastructure that keeps creative consistent as the team and product line grow.
